Deep tissue massage uses more intense pressure than the familiar Swedish Massage, helping to release chronic muscle tension. The use of firm pressure in specific areas of the body releases tight layers of muscle and tissue. Restoring movement in these tissues alleviates muscle spasm and decreases pain.

Myofascial Release Massage

Myofascial Release Massage is a specific technique that manipulates the connective tissue called fascia, a thin, tough, but elastic tissue that wraps around most structures of the body. Myofascial Release Therapy targets the fascia and its constrictions. It is a powerful tool in treating acute and chronic pain caused by myofascial tension.
